After crisscrossing the islands of the Marquesas Islands in the North to the South since last July, We decide to go back on Tahuata in the Bay of Hapatoni. The atmosphere that reigns among the inhabitants is harmonious, their generosity and their sense of sharing makes this place particularly endearing.
During our first visit to the Marquesas in December 2014, We could not visit the island of Fatu Hiva, the Bay of virgins (Hanavave), because of the swell. We look forward to discover this place( and its inhabitants) reputed to be one of the most beautiful landscape of the Marquesas!

We leave to the discovery of Nuku Hiva with several stops around the island... most of the bays West and North are wild, rarely inhabited but sometimes in the heart of the Valley a Fare popped up in the middle of coconut trees.
After 4000 miles driven in 23 days we land at the marquee on the island of Nuku Hiva. We find our friends with whom we had spent good times three years ago...
