We beat our record from the Panama canal to 2 days... too strong Tao!

On the road to Panama we make a quick stop in the realm of finance... where everything is overpriced, except the entry formalities!.

Exceptional home by the guardians of the Cayo Campos reserve where a colony of crab-eating Macaque monkeys is established.

Sophie and Ivan are with us when we find Trinidad 5 years after our first visit. The city has not changed... but there are many more tourists!

As soon as Ivan and Sophie are on board we drop anchor and put Cape West to the gardens of the Queen. A stretch of reefs, the lobsters under every rock and mangrove...!

Aside from the pollution of Santiago and yellow drips it leaves on the bridge of Tao, We have pleasure to return to Cuba with its friendly locals always eager to talk to us...

Monday 10 April – After 4 days at sea we arrive at the Turks and Caicos. We aim the Cockburn Town on Grand Turk island where we do our entry and get a permit of navigation for a week...

FINALLY.... We received the lithium batteries ordered in China!  The weather is good and tonight we raise the anchor to continue westward.

 Tired of scratching the hull each week to remove algae, We have programmed a refit at the shipyard TOBY (Time Out) on the island of St Martin. It is at about 140 nautical miles from Guadeloupe and we pass by Montserrat and Nevis.
