Saturday 2 November – We celebrate Philippe's birthday on Hibiscus with 3 Other boats (Black Pearl, Baloo and Pilou pilou), as well as Edouard, Denise and Tevaite. Philip being the king of the party, Laurent and Coraline (Black Pearl) made him "an evening outfit", which suits him to delight..... Philippe lends himself to the game…

First there is the lagoon, its crystal clear water and motus, then the volcanic islands and their lush vegetation, then the anchorages where we take ourselves for Robinson, then, then, then.... Many inhabitants of Puerto Villamil have farms at the foot of the Sierra Negra volcano. Sarah a 68 years, it has 50 hectares of land with many fruit trees... Orange trees, grapefruit trees, lemon trees, banana, maracuja I.... Every morning she goes to her farm to feed the pigs, chickens and clearing the trails…

A very nice day of hiking with the crew of DigDoog to the crater of the Sierra Negra volcano and the lava fields of Chico Volcano. These are active volcanoes and the last eruption was in 2005...
