October 2014 – Taravao Lunch with Philippe and Nirvana before taking our road. We follow the "Polynesian tradition" with a Hibiscus in our ear... Looks like they're not on the right side!!

24 July 2014 – No more holidays in France!! We are back at the Taravao shipyard and the programme is full to get the boat back into "sailing mode".. Matte Hibiscus is a bit "naked"! It should arrive in mid-September....

  May 2014 –  Two years since we didn't come back and the reunion with friends, Around a good table and a good wine is always a real pleasure!!! We decide to take a short France drive to see family and friends at the 4 corners of France.

Monday 17 February – Departure of the Gambier (Taravai island) around 7:30 a.m. A last goodbye to Edouard and Denise by VHF, as well as to the boats of the anchorage... Leo, Ratafia, Buena Vista and Hydra... We have 800 miles to travel to Fatu-Hiva the island south of the Marquesas. The weather forecast is good, East wind between 15 and…

Already 4 month and a half that we are in Gambier. Time flies and we start thinking about the rest of our trip... Hiking, Swimming, dive, fishing, Parties and barbecues are on the program for these last weeks.

We celebrate the new year on "Léon" – Dédé and Dom's boat – where Marc and Jane ( boat "Ratafia") are also part of the party. On the menu... Lobsters and cicadas freshly caught the night before on the flat.

  Edouard and Denise open their house to celebrate Christmas "a la Tahitian" with their friends and some sailboats...

17 December –  Departure at dawn from Taravai, direction the island of Temoe a 30 miles southeast of Mangareva. Objective fishing and visit of the island...
